If you’re interviewing agents, ask about their technology skills. Do they use a client portal? Can they conduct virtual tours? How do they handle electronic signatures? What’s their response time for after-hours questions? The answers will tell you whether they’ve adapted to modern real estate or are still operating like it’s 1995.

Marcus wasn’t just tech-savvy; he was tech-intentional. He used digital tools to serve me better, not to replace human connection. When I finally flew out to see my new home in person, he met me there. We walked through together, and he showed me the details his videos couldn’t capture, the feel of the neighborhood, the sound of the birds, the way the afternoon light hit the back porch. The technology got us to that moment. The person made it meaningful.
